Record what you saw
Pick the activity you ran, then say or type what happened. One sentence becomes several observations — nothing saves until you confirm.
Where the class stands
The distribution across skills — not a single average. Tap a child for their profile.
| Skill | Class distribution |
|---|
Names can be hard to catch — you can enroll and refer to a child by roll number instead. Tap any child to see or remove them.
Tomorrow's plan
The engine finds the class bottleneck, checks it's real, forms groups, and drafts a teacher brief.
Activity bank
Where the activity set lives. Each activity carries one tag — the skill a teacher can observe — and that tag is all the plan engine needs.
The organisation maps each of their activities to this framework themselves. One activity per line: Name | competency | band — e.g. Blend and Build | L5 | core. Band is optional (defaults to core). Only names and the mapping are stored; activity content stays with the organisation.
Settings — connect AI (optional)
The tool works fully without this, using built-in rules. Add a free Google AI Studio key to let the model parse messier speech and write richer plans. Your key stays in this browser only and is never sent anywhere except Google.
Default gemini-3.5-flash. If your key errors on it, try gemini-3.1-flash-lite or gemini-2.5-flash. Free tier is enough for testing.
Get a free key: open aistudio.google.com/apikey, sign in, create a key, paste it above. No billing setup needed for the free tier.
Backup & restore
Data is stored on this device only. Back it up regularly so nothing is lost if the browser is cleared or the phone changes.
Email opens your mail app with the address filled in — attach the file that was just downloaded, then send. (Browsers can't attach it automatically.) Restore replaces all data on this device with a backup file.
Reports
Download a record of what's been observed — to review whether the tool is working, and to share.
